Annual Leelah Group
A year inside a world of imagination, relationships, and play
The Annual Leelah Group is an invitation to enter a world that is slowly built together: an imagined town, characters, houses, roles, relationships, secrets, tensions, distance and closeness.
From the first moment, there is a character, and there is a town. There is no need to perform or to “act well” — only to step into the character, meet other characters, listen to what unfolds, and allow the play to begin to move.
Inside the town, encounters begin to form: between character and character, between person and person, and between what happens in the play and what begins to appear within. A relationship, a role, or a small moment of closeness can continue to resonate beyond the play, opening a new way of seeing ourselves and the way we move in relationship.

What happens in the group?
In each session, the group returns to the world of Leelah through the characters and the shared story. The town continues from where it left off: relationships develop, events unfold, roles deepen, and something in the group begins to remember.
The plot is not predetermined. Dov holds the frame, but the world is built by the participants — through the choices of the characters and what the group discovers together. A conversation, a gathering, a secret, a conflict, or a moment of reconciliation can shift the story and reveal something new about the character.
In Leelah, there is no rush to explain what is happening. The character develops, the play does its work, and meaning becomes clear in its own rhythm. By the end of the year, the imagined town often reveals itself as a meaningful process that continues to resonate in life itself

Who is it for?
The group is for people who are drawn to imagination, depth, play, and the life of a group.
It may be right for those seeking a living personal process, for those who want to meet themselves through character and relationship, and for those who feel that conversation alone is not always enough for something new to appear.
No acting experience is needed.
No therapeutic background is needed.
There is no need to know how to perform.
What is needed is curiosity, openness, and a willingness to enter a world that is built slowly — a world in which the character, the group, and the play begin to speak in their own language.

What is the difference between the group
and the Training & Deepening Program?
The Annual Leelah Group is for those who want to take part in a personal and group process through play, character, and an imagined world.
The Training & Deepening Program is for those who want to study Leelah as a professional practice as well: to understand how to hold such a space, how to read a group process, how to work with character and a narrative frame, and how Leelah can be facilitated and offered to others.

Want to experience Leelah before joining?
You can begin with an Open Session — to meet Dov, encounter the language of Leelah, and sense whether this town is calling you.
The Open Session allows you to come closer to the way of Leelah through experience, conversation, and curiosity, before deciding whether it is right to continue into the Annual Group or the Training & Deepening Program.
The town is calling
You can arrive with curiosity.
The character will reveal itself along the way.
The town will slowly be built.
And the play will begin to call you from within.
